MeraPeon — Privacy Policy

Last updated 2 August 2026

MeraPeon is a vehicle register used by parking staff at a place of worship. It records vehicles entering and leaving, so the site knows what it is holding and can answer questions about it later. This policy describes what it collects and what you can ask us to do about it.

What we collect

From staff who use the app: a mobile phone number, used only to sign in. There is no password. We also record which member of staff recorded each entry and exit, and an identifier for the handset itself so a supervisor can tell whether a device has stopped working.

About vehicles: the number plate, the vehicle type, the times it entered and left, and a photograph taken at the gate. The photograph generally shows the vehicle and its number plate, and may incidentally include people or surroundings near it.

Optionally, about a vehicle's owner: a name and a phone number, if staff are given them. This is used to contact someone whose vehicle has been parked far longer than the site allows. It is never used for marketing and is never sold or shared.

Why we collect it

To keep an accurate record of vehicles on the premises; to help staff find a specific vehicle at the exit gate; to identify vehicles left far beyond the site's stated limit; and to give the institution an honest account of what happened on any given day.

A photograph exists so the record can be checked afterwards. Where a site is responsible for vehicles left in its care, being able to show what was recorded, and when, protects both the site and the owner.

Who can see it

Only people the institution has enrolled. There is no public sign-up: an account is created by a supervisor or administrator, and a verified phone number alone does not grant access to anything.

Each institution's records are separated from every other institution's, and staff can only ever see their own site. We do not sell data, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.

How long we keep it

Entry and exit records are kept for as long as the institution needs them as a register. Photographs are kept alongside the visit they belong to. Owner names and phone numbers are kept only while they remain useful to the site, and can be removed at any time on request.

Asking us to delete your details

You can ask us to erase an owner's name and phone number, and the photographs connected to a vehicle. Write to brij@qwikbuild.com with the vehicle's number plate.

When we erase personal details, the key that makes them readable is destroyed. They cannot be recovered afterwards by us or by anyone else, including from backups. Photographs are deleted from storage outright. The fact that a vehicle visited, and when, remains in the register — that is the institution's own record of its premises, and it holds no personal detail once erased.

How it is protected

Owner names and phone numbers are encrypted individually, so that erasing one person's details cannot expose or affect anyone else's. All traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted. Access to a lost or stolen handset can be revoked by a supervisor, after which the device erases its credentials and its copy of any names it had cached.

Children

MeraPeon is a tool for parking staff. It is not directed at children.
